Defence infrastructure (Operational base and platform for Medium Power Radar)

Vistacore Infraprojects Pvt. Ltd. is executing one of the most technically demanding and strategically significant defence infrastructure projects in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands — the construction of a Medium Power Radar (MPR) Platform and Operational Base in the remote tribal territory of Carnicobar Island.

Signature Engineering Feat
At the heart of this project is a 246-metre-long, 20-metre-high, 8-metre-wide RCC Radar Platform / Ramp, serving as the primary structural foundation for the MPR radar system. Engineered to withstand extreme coastal winds, seismic activity, and saline exposure, this platform is supported by deep bored cast-in-situ piles (600mm–1000mm diameter) anchored into dense coral strata — a geological challenge rarely encountered in conventional construction.
Vistacore employs specialized mobile piling rigs, engineered techniques for coral rock penetration, and marine-grade concrete systems, showcasing our precision engineering capabilities in non-standard, highly challenging environments.

Execution in Extreme Remote & Tribal Location

The Andaman & Nicobar Islands are among India’s most remote territories. Port Blair, the administrative hub, is situated over 1,200 km from the mainland, accessible by air from Chennai and Kolkata or sea from Chennai, Kolkata, and Visakhapatnam. Carnicobar Island lies a further 350 km from Port Blair, in a tribal-restricted area, requiring special entry permits for manpower every three months.
Operating under these extreme logistical and regulatory constraints, Vistacore has successfully mobilized operations with military-grade discipline, ensuring resilient supply chain management, resource handling, and seamless execution.
